From Conni: My husband and I live and work in Saratoga Springs, NY, while our daughters both live in NYC, pursuing their dreams! Because of my husband's recent surgeries, we will not be able to attend the reunion, but it sounds like fun and we'll look forward to another opportunity in the future. Greetings to all!

From Sue: Have been married 36 years to Steve and have lived in the Bay Area of California all that time (except for 4 years in Hawaii). We have two sons in their 20's, neither married, darn. (Am so looking forward to grandchildren!!! )
How great to hear about this website and reunion! Already I've learned about other classmates living in N. Calif. - wouldn't a mini reunion in Calif. be a kick? Anyway, I am looking forward to Sept. and thank those people involved in the planning of this.

Marital Status: Married
No. of Children: 3
From Peggy: I've been in the San Francisco Bay Area since 1968 ... three daughters from two marriages, ranging in age from 16 to 35. No grandchildren yet. I'm looking with envy at all of you who are retiring and thinking there's a steep price to pay for working in the nonprofit field all your life AND living in the Bay Area. I'm still in touch with several friends from our Darien years (John Carroll lives out here in SF) so I hope we can all meet up in September. I'm off to find Christina Joosten at the gym - you wouldn't know it to look at me, but I taught aerobics for 10 years up until 2006. :-) UPDATE 9.13.07: Sorry: unable to make reunion after all (job demands). I've so enjoyed reading all the updates, though! I'm looking forward to reports, and the promise of pictures.

Occupation: Surface Designer
Marital Status: Married
No. of Children: 2
From Charlotte: Have lived in the Washington, DC, area since late 1969, when I moved here to attend what is now the Corcoran College of Art & Design. Have been married most happily to Brian Corcoran (unrelated, except to me) for lo, these 36 years -- on the other side of the Potomac in Alexandria, VA. Am not sure that I can tolerate living in this political spin cycle for the next 1-1/2 yrs., though these can be viewed as interesting times here in Washington. We raised two lovely daughters here (Caitlin, 25, human services case mgr. for a non-profit in Burlington, VT, and Alison, 23, about to begin her first job out of college as a designer at the Arlington, VA, office of a Texas architectural firm). Brian is a few years from retiring from his administrative law job with the Feds. Guess I can do my freelance surface design work as long as I'm lucid, which I hope doesn't suggest a rather limited time frame. Life is generally good, if you discount my short game, the cost of living in the DC metro area, and the fact that the dog we inherited from our then-college-age daughter will probably outlive us. May she can hang out with Leona Helmsley's pooch...

From Charlie: What a combination; the Class of '66 and our friends of the Class of 1967 getting together! My wife Jan and I have been married 28 years now. We've been in Brattleboro, VT pretty much since meeting at Windham College in the 70's. Megan our oldest is at St. Peter's College, our oldest son Chris is at UMass and Tucker is a senior in High School. Windham County is where I sell real estate now while Jan finishes her career in Special Education. Great place to retire to [shameless plug]. It'll be fantastic to see you at the reunion (I hope).

From Sandy: Have been living in and around the Boston area since 1969...Finally settled in Duxbury, MA 24 years ago, where my husband, Doug, and I brought up our son, Jay. Now 23, Jay's a college graduate and presently teaches English in S. Korea. Can't believe how many of you have retired...I have, but to support the style in which we enjoy, my husband has a few more years...and he's a couple years older than we are! Five years ago, I joined a volunteer group ...The MFA Associates at the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston. Our group gives guided tours of the musuem, as well as raise monies for the museum through Art in Bloom each spring and other activities! My brother and sister still live in Darien ...and Dad is in New Canaan, so I get back quite often and have seen quite a few changes. A side note, I've met a number of people from Darien up in this neck of the woods (some older, some younger)...and they all seemed to have taken ballroom dancing from Mrs. Hollowell!!!

From Carol: I have been teaching fourth grade in Monroe for 29 years and still loving it! I have two wonderful children. My son Doug is 32. He is teaching 8th grade history in Monroe. My daughter Megan is 30 and she made me a grandma on June 21st. I now have a beautiful grandson named Drew. On a sad note I lost my wonderful husand of 32 years to cancer in May 2003. It is fun seeing what everyone has been up to over these 41 years....has it really been that long?
