From Russ:
I have six great kids ranging from 19 to 29. We anticipate the arrival of our first grandson this summer. We gather frequently in a new home that I recently built in CT, "Second Wind" as well as on Nantucket in the summer. I am enjoying a "Chairmans" role in business and have found time to travel, read, and pursue other interests for the first time in a long time. Where did all the time go? Wow!

Click to Edit Your Entry Jane Vollmer (McNiff)
Occupation:  educator
Marital Status:  Married
From Jane:
Since I'm having so much fun reading everone else's mini-bios I thought to add mine. "educator" sounds a bit pompous--off again on again French teacher and am now an attendance officer at Danbury High School--yep, that's right, busting truants (please hold your snickers). Lived in Saratoga Springs for 25 years after graduating from Skidmore, was married & widowed, taught French, tended bar, even dabbled in restaurant ownership (anyone ever been to Siro's?). In the early 90's married my husband John, a CT. business man and fellow horseplayer who would come to my bar whenever he was in town for the track. We married in '94, came to live in New Fairfield (not much to say about this town) but kept my house in the historic district of Saratoga and still spend summers there (last summer upgraded to a house about a furlong from the track). We hope to move back up there full-time in the not too distant future.
